The chimmey sweeps tour of Washington

I got to go up on the roof of the Freer Museum yesterday, and take a look at a job for a bid, Fortunately I had my Camera with me..J

Reasons...

Figured I would check out this "blogging" thing, and set up some place to post my thoughts and feelings. I am currently going through a particularly rough time in my life, in that my wife was diagnosed in November of 2007 with metastatic lung cancer. She's finished her first round of chemo, having already had 2 separate series of radiation treatments. The chemotherapy recovery is not exactly doing her well.
In order for me to maintain some level of sanity in my life, I have been getting more and more in to photography, as you can no doubt see from the photos posted here on my blog. It's a good thing to go out in the world and see the beauty, rather than sit at home and concentrate on dealing with the bad things that are happening in your life. It's also a good thing to have faith. Take my word for it friends, it's a REALLY good thing to have faith. I never really needed to turn to God in my life until recently, I guess I was never faced with anything that required the need for that kind of power. But recent events involving my wife's illness have forced me to come to believe that miracles do happen, and that with Him all things are indeed possible. God Bless All, Joe
